The final match of the Township Administration Council chairman’s cup U-16 men’s football final match took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the township football ground in the town of Monghsu, Shan State at about 3:00 pm on 31 July.
In the final game, the team representing B.E.H.S. (Monghsu) beat the squad representing B.E.M.S.(Monghsu) 5-4 and was crowned the champion trophy.
Officials from the District Administration Council, the Township Administration Council, the Township Red-Cross Society, the Township Police Station and the Township General Administration Department attended the event and presented individual prizes, cash and champion trophy to prize winning players and teams.
Players from seven teams in the Township took part in the inter-school football tournament.—Than Lu (IPRD)
