Three armed men arrested in Tachilek

Tachilek, 13 February 

 

Three armed men were arrested in a search at Taunglek junction in Saykham ward in the city of Tachilek, Shan state ( East) yesterday evening, according to the local police station.

 

While on a security patrol at Taunglek junction in Saykham ward, police led by Police Inspector Chan Myae Aung together with witnesses intercepted a MARK X van driven by Sai Wann Kyauk with Sai Shannon onboard en route from Wan Kyauklon village to Tachilek. The authorities seized one black GLOCK pistol and its 10 bullets and 19 .22 bullets in their possession.

 

Similarly, the police seized one black GLOCK pistol and its 13 bullets from Aik Non who drove a Toyota van from Saykham ward to the downtown of Tachilek.

 

Sai Wann Kyauk, 22, of Sansai ward-A, Sai Shannon, 24, of Maetoak village and Aiknon, 28, of Wanlon village, TAchilek township were arrested by the police.—Myintmo ( Tachilek)
