Thanakha saplings, teaching aids provided by Korea University

A ceremony to furnish 2,500 Thanakha saplings and teaching aids to a post-primary school in Kyauktan village, Chauk Township by Chonbuk National University, Korea was conducted yesterday.

“The Thanakha saplings and teaching aid were provided with the intention of making environment green and pleasant and the development of all-round education”, said Daw May Thet Naing, head of the Chauk Rural Development Department.

Students from the Chonbuk National University met with the head of the department in Chauk and conducted an interview with those responsible over the rural development.

The K water association based in Korea furnished repair of school building, cultivation of Thanakha plants, construction of water tank and distribution of water supply through door-to-door system in 2018.
