With the joint cooperation of Myanmar Medical Association and Public Health Department, a field trip to conduct tuberculosis diagnosis in conjunction with health care services was made at a congregation hall in Ward-9 in South Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region yesterday.
The team led by Dr. Soe Myat Toe from the Myanmar Medical Association and Dr. Aye Aye Moe from the Public Health Department provided TB diagnosis and health care services to local people with the help of members of Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association.
Then, a medical staff from the Public Health Department shared knowledge on symptoms and preventative measures of coronavirus. The people were urged to inform to the nearby Health Department when coronavirus suspects were found.
Over 140 patients who are living with different diseases and TB suspects were given health care treatment. - Nay Htet Aung
