Officials from the Khin-U Township Food and Drug Administration Committee made a surprise check on sales of prohibited food and cosmetics with expired dates in the market yesterday.
Officials from the Township Department of Consumer Affairs, Township Public Health Department, Township Fire Services Department, Township Development Committee and members of Market Committee and ward administrators jointly inspected whether “words” bearing expired dates are printed in Myanmar. In addition, they warned the shopkeepers of avoiding the sales of prohibited goods and shared awareness on selling goods permitted by FDA and distributed pamphlets.
