An event to donate relief supplies to storm victims was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Kyunhla Township, Sagaing Region on 23 April.
A total of 56 houses and three monasteries from 11 villages in the township were damaged by gusty winds that recently swept through the area. Officials from the Department of Disaster Management presented over Ks. 1.8 million for purchasing construction materials and Ks. 558,600 for buying rice for 266 storm victims, said U Myo Zaw, Staff Officer from the DMM.—Myo Win Nyo (Kyunhla)
