WY branded stimulant tablets, opium powder, marijuana and paraphernalia were seized in Kawthaung, Taninthayi Region yesterday.
Acting on a tip- off, police members led by Police Inspector Win Kyaing from Kawthaung Myoma Police Station and eye witnesses searched the house of Phalu alias Aung Myo Oo, Kawthaung and his accomplice, Kyaw Naing and seized 1,400 WY branded stimulant pills, two packages of stimulant powder, opium powder weighing 30 grams, 10 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia.
The local police station has filed charges against the two under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. –Kyaw Soe
