Some residential areas in Hlaingbwe Twsp submerged by floodwaters

Some residential areas in low-lying wards and villages in Hlaingbwe Township have been inundated by floodwater from the Thanlwin River after its water level exceeded its danger mark.
    

The water level of Thanlwin River has reached 1110 cm, 60 cm above its danger mark following the heavy rains in the upper reach of the river. No rescue camps have yet to be set up and Joe Chaung-Shwegun Road was submerged about two feet of floodwater.
    

The trucks are currently allowed to use the road and local authorities are assisting travelers for convenience of their destination.
