Six Thais arrested for illegal online gaming activities in Tachilek

Six Thais were arrested for doing illegal internet game business as well as violation of visa regulations in Painkyauk ward in the eastern Shan state city of Tachilek yesterday evening.

Upon information received, police led by Police Inspector Ko Ko Oo together with witnesses searched a house in Painkyauk ward, Tachilek. The search led to the arrest of six Thai citizens—five male and one female. They were identified as Mr. Tui,25, Mr. Narait Detrittha Weesak, 21, Mr. Phakhum Thipchai, 21, Mr. Teerasit Saelee, 25, Mr. Chirawat Mongkhonli, 21 and Ms. Onanonn Payalung who were arrested together with 21 11 sets of computers, seven motherboards, eight USB batteries, nine hand phones and one Wi-Fi transmitter used for illegal internet game business.

Action is being taken against them for doing illegal internet gaming activities and violations of visa regulations by Tachilek Myoma Police station.— Myintmo ( Tachilek)
