Shwe Yarman beats Brazil’s Fabio in Lamine lethwei fight

Myanmar lethwei fighter Shwe Yarman defeated Brazil’s Fabio in the first round of a lethwei competition held yesterday in Lamine, Mon State.
 

A young and strong fighter, Shwe Yarman, who was representing Myanmar, launched an attack from the start of the match, while the Brazilian fighter relied on an attack plus defense style.
 

Shwe Yarman knocked out the Brazilian fighter in the first round of the fight.
 

Next, Myanmar fighter Saw Min Aung fought with Phwa Soula of Thailand, and their match ended in a draw through a unanimous decision.
 

The match between Saw Min of Myanmar and Banleusak Tor Silachai of Thailand was also thrilling for Myanmar fans. Saw Min beat Silachai in the third round of the fight.
 

A local lethwei fight of five rounds featured two Myanmar fighters — Saw Ant Gyi and Lamayou. Lamayou won the fight after knocking out Saw Ant Gyi in the third round.
 

In a four-round lethwei fight, Than Phyo Zaw (Myanmar) fought to a draw against Paing Thet Kyaw (Myanmar).
