Shwe Parami Foundation offers free healthcare services in Pekhon

A local social organization and Shwe Parami Healthcare Foundation, established by a prominent Buddhist monk Ashin Sandadika, jointly offered free healthcare services to local people at a religious building in Pekhon Township, Southern Shan State.

An ophthalmology team conducted medical check-ups for 4,636 patients during the three-day period from 17 to 19 February. Out of the patients who have been given healthcare services by the medical team, 94 were transferred to a 500-bed public hospital in Loikaw as they are found to be performed surgery. Eye patients have been provided with glasses.
