Saw, 3 October
A school upgrading ceremony to a basic education high school (branch) from a middle school was held in Pauktaw Village, Saw Township in Magway Region on 2 October.
The upgraded school was formally opened by the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Kyaw Tin, Township Education Officer U Thang Ching Mong, a village-tract administrator and headmaster U Zaw Myo Oo by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. The opening ceremony of the school followed. The Pyithu Hluttaw Representative and the township education officer explained matters relating to the school and educational affairs.
The headmaster then spoke words of thanks and those present were given commemorative gifts and entertained with dance and song by the students.
