A school ferry bus belonged to Nay Pyi Taw International Science Academy, situated in Ottarathiri Township, caught fire at 7:30 am today in Nay Pyi Taw.
The school bus driven by U Maung San, 32, started to catch fire when it arrived in front of Ayeyawady Bank on Yazathingaha road in Pobbathiri Township. Fire brigades from Ottarathiri Township Fire Services Station rushed to the scene and put out the car fire within half an hour with one fire engine.
No causalities were reported in the fire. The cause of the fire was believed to be an electric shock in the car.— Ottara District IPRD
