A ceremony to open a school library and school family day was held at the Samon Ywathit Basic Education Primary School in Taungdwingyi this afternoon.
The library was formally opened by Daw Tin Mar Oo, head of Basic Education Middle School, Daw Cho Mi Aung, head of the Information and Public Relations Department.
This was followed the opening of school family day in which U Zaw Win Naing, head of the Samon Ywathit BEPS clarified the purpose of the event, procedures and proceedings of the school and amendment of school curricula and change of teaching system.
At the ceremony, exceptional students in education, sporting events and other competitions were awarded in 2018-2019 academic year by officials. Present on the occasion were heads of the schools, teachers, departmental officials, students and their parents.
