Mogaung, 10 June
A high school that was converted into a quarantine center for the people coming back home in Mogaung Township, Kachin State has been returned to the Ministry of Education.
The event to return the school to the Ministry of Education was held on 9 June. The facility was used to put the returnees under 21-day quarantine before they were sent back home. The school housed 117 people returned from China during the period from 1 April to 8 June. School’s classrooms were disinfected and a clean-up conducted near the school.
The chairman of township COVID-19 control and prevention committee and the Amyotha Hluttaw Representative Dr Khin Ma Gyi handed over the school of Headmistress Daw Khin Moe Tun.
