The organizing committee for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics has announced schedules for most of the games' test events.56 tests are to be held until May of next year.
The organizing committee on Wednesday announced the schedules of 51 of the events. The International Olympic Committee has suspended the operation of the international sports organization for boxing.
22 mainly outdoor events are to take place from June to September. They include beach volleyball, golf and a new event, sport climbing.
The test events hosted by the organizing committee will have the common name "Ready Steady Tokyo" to foster momentum toward the Olympics.
