A fresher welcoming ceremony for the academic year 2018-2019 was held at the convocation hall of the Co-Operative University in Sagaing this morning.
Firstly, the rector of the university Dr. Moh Moh Yi made an opening speech. Next, the pro-rector of the university introduced the fresher students to faculty members individually. Then the chairman of the organizing committee for the fresher welcoming ceremony Dr. Maung Maung Khin extended greetings and presented awards to outstanding students who passed the first year in the academic year 2017-2018.
Afterwards, the deputy dean and secretary of the subcommittee for selection of the King & Queen explained matters relating to the selection process and gave commemorative gifts to the sponsors.—Khaing Zeyar
