Rural road being constructed in Minhla Township

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing rural development projects in Didokkan Village in Minhla Township, Magway Region. 

 

Officials from the Region Department of Rural Development inspected the construction works of rural road in Didokkan Village in Minhla Township on 26 July this year. During the inspection tour, in charge person of construction Company explained matters relating to construction works of rural road. Then, staff officer of the Region DRD U Soe Maung gave necessary instructions to the company and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

 

The gravel road measuring 10560 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. in thickness, and a pipe culvert and two box culverts measuring 100 ft. in length on the road are being constructed by Guiding True Construction Company with Ks. 111.6 million allocated by regional government in 2022-2023 fiscal years.

 

Once completed, it will benefit over 1200 acres of farmland of 1563 local people from 370 households and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Me Thein(DRD)
