Rural healthcare center handed over to MoHS

Nyaunglebin, 24 March

A ceremony to hand over a rural healthcare facility to the Ministry of Health and Sports took place in Pazunmyaung Model Village in Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region this morning.

The healthcare center was opened by a prominent Buddhist monk, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Win Myat Aye, an official from the Department of Public Health under the ministry and the Lower House MP Dr. Myint Thein by cutting a ceremonial ribbon and sprinkled scented water on the stone plaque of the healthcare facility.

The rural healthcare center was built with more than Ks. 150 million donated by the disciples of Agga Maha Pandita Abhidaja Agga Saddhama Jotika Agga Maha Jotika Daja Bhaddanta Sumana Bhivamsa to mark the Sayadaw’s 86th birthday ceremony.—Tin Soe (Bago)
