A ceremony to provide relief items to victims of strong wind was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Kangyidaunk, Pathein District, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.
The township deputy Administrator U Pae Sone, officials from the township Department of Social Welfare and the Region Department of Social Welfare provided K 108400 for buying building materials and rice, and rescue kit box with 17 items to four victims of strong wind.
Powerful winds hit Bamar Myaungkyi Village in the township on 19 August and destroyed a house.
