Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat received H.E. Ms. Andrea Faulkner, Australian Ambassador to Myanmar at the Pyithu Hluttaw Building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
At the meeting increasing bilateral cooperation and friendship between the governments and the parliaments, cooperation in education, economy, agriculture, investment and democracy development sectors, capacity building of Hluttaw representatives and Hluttaw Office personnel, the role of committees in the Hluttaw’s legislative process and the Constitution amendment process were discussed and views exchanged.
The meeting was attended by Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein and officials from Pyithu Hluttaw Office. —MNA
