Kyaukphyu, 2 January
Public talks titled “Youth and Education” were conducted at the Congregational Hall in Kyaukphyu under the co-sponsorship of Education Promoting Association, Rakkhita Alinyaung Book Lovers Association and locals yesterday.
Writer Daw Mi Wine on behalf of the organizing committee clarified the purpose of the talks and expressed thanks to those who help organize the event. Afterwards, writer U Maung Maung Soe, National Literary Award winner, writer Daw Maw Maw Thin (Community Relations Consultant- BEM) and writer Tharawun (Pyay) led the discussions titled “Youth and Education".
Present on the occasion were bookworms in Kyaukphyu, departmental personnel, teachers and students and trainees from the Education College, totaling 500 people.
