Pregnant women, children from IDP camps in Namtu receive cash aid

Namtu, 11 June

 

Officials from the township Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided cash aid to pregnant women and children below two years old from three internally displaced people (IDP) camps at the meeting hall of Kyusaw IDP camp in Namtu Township, Kyaukme District, Shan State(North) yesterday.

 

Firstly, the township Administrator U Htet Aung Phyo gave a speech. Then, Deputy Director of the Township Department of Social Welfare Daw Yee Yee Khaing clarified the purse of the provision of cash aid for pregnant women and children under two years old.

 

Under the relief supply program, 32 people including three pregnant women and 29 children under two years old from three IDP camps including Kyusaw IDP camp, Kachin IDP camp and Lishu IDP camp received K 30000 each.—Lu Maw, IPRD
