Pond to provide drinking water for Covid-19 patients dug in Bago

Bago 27 March

The digging works of a pond to supply drinking water for Covid-19 patients to be placed under quarantine at the office of the region Public Health Department near Kali six-storey hospital in the town of Bago have been completed.

The place where Covid-19 patients are to be placed has no source of underground water. Therefore, with the cooperation among Bago region Irrigation and Water Utilization Department and social organizations, a pond measuring 45 ft in length, 30 ft in width and seven ft in depth has been dug. The earth pond can store 50000 liters of drinking water.—Tin Soe
