A combined team comprised of police members from Hopong Township Myoma Police station and departmental officials destroyed 66 acres of poppy fields located about one mile west of Sanphu Villag in Hopong Township, Shan State on 4 March, according to the information released by the Myanmar Police Force.
Similarly, authorities removed 15 acres of poppy fields located about six miles west of Pahta Village, Maingpyin Township in Shan State.
