Kyaikmaraw, 9 May
Well-wishers distributed food rations and new clothes for the unemployed people and those who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 in Kalaikanaing Village in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State yesterday.
Under this food supply program, 107 families in the village received rice, cooking oil, salt, onion, beans, school uniforms, other new clothes, soap, bread, mattocks, chopping hoes and shovels.
Also present on the occasion were Minister of Kayin ethnic affairs U Saw Aung Myint Khaing, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Khin Zaw, donors.—Cho Cho, IPRD
