Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction works of rural road in Khoyawng Village in Lashio Township this morning. During the inspection tour, officials met together with in charge person of the construction Company and members of village development committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
The gravel road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in thickness is being constructed by Shwepinpaw Construction Company with Ks. 44.56 million allocated by regional government in 2022-2023 fiscal years.
Once completed, it will benefit over 538 acres of farmland of 1758 local people from 334 households and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Nilar
