A ceremony to hand over new school facilities to Education Department was held at the hall of the Township Rural Development Office in Moenyo Township, Thayawady District, Bago Region on 31 January.
At the ceremony, an official from the Township Rural Development Department made a speech before handing over documents related to school facilities to respective heads of the schools.
Repair of school building and fencing in six school buildings were conducted with over K 56 million of the second phase of the Community Driven Development Project and public provisions. New eight school buildings and a bridge to school were constructed with K 73.2 million of third phase of the project and public provisions, according to the Township Rural Development Department.
