New school building opens in Mabin Township

A ceremony to open a new school building was held in the compound of sub-Basic Education Middle school in Lawa Village in Mabin Township, Mongmit District in Shan State (North) this morning.

 

Staff officer of the Township Education Officer’s office Daw Than Tin, Deputy Administrator of the Township U Ko Ko Aye, deputy staff officer of the Township Education Officer’s office U Kyaw Maung Maung Aye, headmistress of sub-Basic Education Middle school Daw Nwe Nwe Aung and Village Administrator U Than Oo attended the event and cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the school.

 

The two-story school facility measuring 130 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 24 ft. in height was built by spending Ks. 170 million including Ks. 100 million allocated by the regional government, Ks. 20 million donated by KBZ bank, Ks. 10 million donated by Forever Group and Ks. 40 million donated by well-wisher.—Myo Min(IPRD)
