A ceremony to open “Maung Cherry” hall of B.E.H.S-1 was held in Lashio, Shan State (North) this morning.
First of all, the State Minister of Social Welfare Dr Myo Tun delivered an opening speech. Then, Dr Myo Tun, Vice Commander of north-east command Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Tun, the State Deputy Administrator U Kyaw Thu Zaw, the State Education officer’s Office U Win Maung and Chairman of Hom Hway Co.Ltd U Sai Kyu cut a ribbon to formally open the new hall of B.E.H.S-1.
The new school hall measuring 120 feet in length and 60 feet in height was built by spending K 169.3 million by Hom Hway Co. Ltd Company. Then, Managing Director of the company handed over documents related to the new school hall to staff officer of the township Education officer’s Office.
Afterwards, Patron of Parents and Teachers Association U Sai Bo Bo expressed words of thanks and presented K 2.00 million to the school.
