New Diabetic Clinic inaugurated in Retried Service Personnel’s Hospital in NPT

A ceremony to inaugurate a diabetic unit at the Retired Service Personnel’s Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw was held this morning.

On the occasion, Dr. Daw Thida Hla, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Medical Services Department, Dr. Daw Yin Thanda Lwin, medical superintendent of 300 Bedded Retired Service Personnel’s Hospital opened the building.

Next, officials looked round the clinic and presented gifts to the patients who are receiving the medical treatment on diabetic disease.

Afterwards, Dr. U Win Naing, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Procurement and Distribution gave opening remarks and said that the new facility aims at furnishing medical treatment on diabetic disease every Thursday. Then, Dr. Kyaw Kan Kaung, Director of the Department of non-communicable disease handed over three Glucometer and 6000 Test Strips to the medical superintendent who expressed thanks, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
