A Myanmar traditional Htamane competition was held in conjunction with a prize-distribution ceremony at Union Sport Ground in Muse, northern part of Shan State yesterday.
Altogether 34 teams from district and township governmental departments, private banks, companies and social organizations took part in the competition, which is annually held as part of the preservation of Myanmar traditional culture.
After competition, referees assessed and evaluated the participating teams and officials awarded those who stood first, second, third and five special prizes.
