A multiplier course on taking census and compiling voter’s list was opened at the meeting room of the industrial zone (1) management committee in Dagon Myothit Township, Yangon Region yesterday.
The training course was conducted with the aim of holding the 2020 General Elections successfully. On the occasion, Township Administrator U Hla Myint delivered an address and posed for a documentary photo with those present. The training on electoral procedures was given by officials from the Immigration and Population Department and the Union Election Commission during the course.
Concerned officials also replied to queries raised by the trainees. The training course was attended by 480 trainees.—Thet Min Han
