A first aid coaching course, jointly organized by the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) and the German Red Cross was opened at a religious building in Myohaung Ale Ward, Thanlyan Township in Yangon Region this morning.
On the occasion, Director of the MRCS Daw Khin Khin Shein, and Chairperson of the Yangon Region Red Cross Supervisory Committee Dr. Daw Hla Kyin clarified the purpose of the course. Also present on the occasion were chairpersons of the district/township Red Cross supervisory committee, departmental officials, course instructors and trainees.
30 trainees from Thanlyan and Khayan Townships are being given practical and theatrical training during the eight-day course.—Thet Khaing (Thanlyan)
