A ceremony to donate school uniforms was held at a basic education middle school (branch) in Bandar Village, Kawa Township in Bagon Region this morning.
The school uniforms were donated by the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) and Max Power Thaketa Company. At the ceremony, President of the MRCS Professor Dr. Daw Myat Thu gave an opening speech and Chairman of the supervisory committee for Bago regional Red Cross Society U Ngwe Shein extended greetings.
Next, officials from the MRCS and representatives from the donor company presented school uniforms and stationery for 198 students and blankets and mosquito nets to the senior citizens above 60 years old. The headmaster then expressed words of gratitude.—Tin Soe (Bago)
