A motorcyclist has died on the pot after a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a motorbike in Paung Township, Mon State on Tuesday.
The accident occurred between mileposts 174 and 175 on the Yangon-Mawlamyine Road near Kywechan Village in Paung Township at about 7 a.m. on 22 January. A motorbike driven by a man identified as Kyaw Ye Htut (alias) Kaung Myat, 22 years old from Kywechan Village collided with a passenger bus after the motorcyclist lost control. No passenger was injured in the accident but they were transferred to another bus.
The motorcyclist has been charged with reckless driving by the local police station.—Zin Myo Thu
