A mobile medical team from No.1 Military Hospital 500-Bed Meiktila led by Col Kyaw Soe Win, head of the Medical Services Department furnished free medical services in Mahlaing yesterday.
First Captain Win Min Lat from the Medical Services Department disseminated awareness on diabetic diseases. Afterwards, a total of 849 patients with different diseases were given free medical treatment by the mobile team.
The occasion was graced by Meiktila station commander Col Kyaw Thura Aye, Head of the Medical Services Department Kyaw Soe Win, chairman of the Township Veterans Association Captain Mya Than (Retired) and officials before the provision of glasses to eye patients who underwent surgical operations.
