MNL: Yangon United bags best coach, player awards for Feb

Yangon United head coach U Tin Maung Tun has been adjudged the best coach, while midfielder Maung Maung Lwin has been declared the best player in the Myanmar National League for the month of February.
 

They were presented the awards by officials from Myanmar Post and Telecommunications on 7 March.
 

Under coach U Tin Maung Tun, Yangon Region-based Yangon United has secured good results in the previous month’s matches.
 

The team beat Sagaing United by 2-0, ISPE F.C. by 2-0, Southern Myanmar F.C. by 1-0, and played to a 2-2 draw against defending champions Shan United.
 

Yangon United is still placed third in the scoring table of the Myanmar National League with 20 points from six wins, two draws, and one loss.
 

Yangon United midfielder Maung Maung Lwin has also helped improve the team’s playing style by displaying good understanding with his teammates. He scored a goal for his team in the match against ISPE F.C. last month. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
