Medical equipment donated to public hospital in Chauk

In an attempt to help frontline health workers fight against coronavirus, officials from the Tatmadaw’s defense heavy industry on behalf of the Central Command donated medical equipment to a public hospital in Chauk, Magway Region.

As part of efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, facilitate the control and prevention of deadly virus, and fulfill the requirements of medical supplies, Col Hlaing Tint, Factory Manager of the No.22 Defense Heavy Industry donated 50 personal protective equipment gowns, 500 masks, and 10 goggles through Township Administrator U Kyaw Swe Win and Township Medical Superintendent Dr. Myo Thet Oo.

The township administrator and medical superintendent then spoke words of thanks and presented a certificate of honour.—Ma Cho (IPRD)
