Mongping, 15 June
An event to donate medical equipment for containing COVID-19 was held at the meeting room of People’s hospital in Mongping Township, Shan State(East) yesterday.
As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, 7W trading co. ltd from Yangon donated 180 personal protective equipment (PPE), well-wishers from Taunggyi donated 95 mask and 70 PPE to the hospital. The donations were handed over by secretary of the Township management committee and staff officer of the township Department of Immigration and Population U Win Pe on behalf of the donors.
The donations were accepted by the township medical superintendent Dr. Sai Soe Hein and spoke words of thanks to the donors.
Also present of the occasion were secretary of the Township management committee U Win Pe, the township medical superintended Dr. Sai Soe Hein, medical staff and members of social organizations.
