An event to donate medical equipment for containing coronavirus was held at the meeting room of people’s hospital in the town of Mongpan, Shan State (South) this morning.
As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, Commander of the Eastern Central Command Maj-Gen. Than Hlaing and members donated 250 surgical gloves, 16 bottles of hand gel, six bottles of hand sanitizers and three infrared thermometers to people’s hospital in the town of Mongpan.
In addition, Maj-Gen. Than Hlaing and members provided nutritious food such as eggs and bread to patients in the hospital.
Medical equipment and items were accepted by the town medical superintended Dr. Tin Khaing and the Township Administrator U Soe Min Htet.—Khin Lay Win, IPRD
