Mawlaik, 16 October
The final match of an inter-township U-25 women’s football contest took place at the township sports ground in Mawlaik, Sagaing Region on 15 October.
The team representing Mawlaik Township defeated the squad representing Phoungpyin Township 4-0 and was crowned the champion trophy in the final game of the competition titled, “Mawlaik District Sports and Physical Education Committee Chairman’s Cup”. Next, the prize awarding ceremony followed.
Assistant Commissioner of the General Administration Department U Moe Myint, the chairman of the township football association and concerned officials presented awards to prize winning athletes and teams.
