A man with mental health problem was killed by three people in ward-7 in the town of Nyaugdon in Ma-U Bin district in Ayeyarwady region yesterday.
Shortly after phone information received, police members led by Police Captain Tin Maung rushed to the scene to inspect the incident. The police found that a man was dead with his upper lip and chin badly bruised, one of his upper teeth broken, his throat and cheeks swollen.
The police were reported that the victim was U Tauk Tun and he had mental health problem. The witnesses said while the victim was in the compound of “Zaygyaung” monastery, the three people— San Maung, Po Chet and Kyaw Oo— teased him, forcing him to run away. Then, the three chased after him and beat up him with stones, causing the death of the victim.
Action is being taken against the three, the murderers, by Nyaungdon Myoma police station.— Wala Naing( Nyaungdon)
