Mahlaing, 19 April
A man was killed in a knife attack in Dahatpin village of Kandwin village-tract in Mahlaing Township, Meikhtila district, Mandalay region in the early hours of this morning.
Daw Tu Tu (a) Daw Than Than Soe, 45, attacked Kyaw Moe Thein, her son-in-law, with a chopper, seriously injuring him, according to U Hla Kyaw and Daw San Kyi. Upon the information received, U Aung Min, administrator of Kandwin village-tract rushed to the incident scene and found Kyaw Moe Thein lying dead on a bench in front of the house with multiple cuts in his throat and arms. The victim was said to have drunk alcohol and smashed household materials in the house.
Mahlaing Myoma police station arrested Daw Tu Tu for murder according to the law.— Bo Bo ( Mahlaing)
