An earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on Tuesday morning.
The US Geological Survey says the tremor occurred 80 kilometers southwest of Davao. It is estimated to have a depth of focus of 15.3 kilometers.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no threat of tsunami.
