Local people receive second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Maungdaw Twsp.

Local people received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday.

 

Healthcare workers from the Township Department of Health monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of local people and watched them for 30 minutes after administering the vaccine. Village and ward Administrators and volunteers participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.

 

A total of 1335 people received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine from 16 to 17 February in Maungdaw Township. As of February 17, a total of 2861 people received their second dose of COVID-19 Vaccine in Maungdaw Township. Medical workers conducted vaccination campaign in line with Covid-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
