With the aim of boosting the income of rural people and their socio-economic status, loans for implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers at the home of chairman of village emerald green project committee in Kamma Village, Chaung-U Township, Monywa District, Sagaing Region this morning. The disbursement of loan is the sixth of its kind in the village.
At the event, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development Daw Khaing Soe San delivered a speech and handed over Ks 57.4 million to 152 members of village emerald green project committee in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.
Altogether 152 people – 69 people in agriculture business, 49 in livestock breeding business and seven in trading business received loans of the projects.—Ei Ei Aung(Chaung-U)
