With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project committee at the monastery of Kapyinsu Village in Htigyaing Township, Sagaing Region yesterday afternoon.
At the event, assistant director of the township Department of Rural Development Daw Aye Mon Htet clarified the purpose of the project and explained the rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by the rural people.
Next, Daw Aye Mon Htet and members handed over K 46.4 million to a total of 175 members of village emerald green project committee in the village. The disbursement of loan is the fourth of its kind in the village.—Ye Lin Tun (Htigyaing)
