Kyaikto, 3 January
A ceremony to provide bags of rice to flood victims was held at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department in Kyaikto Township, Thaton District, Mon state at 10:00 am today. The rice donations were made under the program APTERR Tier 3 of the Republic of Korea.
At the event, MP Dr Khin Saung of the Pyithu Hluttaw, MP U Hla Myint Than of the Amyotha Hluttaw and the Township Administrator made speeches. Then, U Kyaw Swa Tun, head of the Township Agricultural Department presented arrangements made for the distribution of 385 bags of rice to 3082 flood victims.
Then, the officials handed over 385 bags of rice to the flood victims.— Township IPRD
