Japan-Myanmar friendship dance show held

A Japan-Myanmar friendship dance show jointly organized by Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and Manjushaka International Cultural Arts Group of Japan was held at Hotel Max, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.


Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung attended the event and said the event will improve Japan-Myanmar ties of friendship and relationship, is believed to raise travel and relation of people between the two countries and Japanese nationals attending the event are invited to invest in Myanmar’s hotel and tourism sector.


Next, Manjushaka International Cultural Arts Group founder Ms. Mamarosa and Daw May Nyo who arranged the event explained about the group’s performances.


Afterwards, the dance group performed various dances, including Japan’s traditional dances and popular dances performed by the group during its international tours and performances. The event was also attended by Ministry of the Office of the State Counsellor Deputy Minister U Khin Maung Tin and wife, Hluttaw representatives, departmental heads, officials from JICA and ministerial departments and invited guests.
